As we have already mentioned, the exchanger does not have a single function, but it can be used in different processes. In addition, the use of the heat exchanger also allows to save on resources and energy.

In general, a heat exchanger requires simple maintenance and any repair can be carried out simply, although no breakdowns usually occur. Also, should a repair be necessary, a large number of spare parts are usually available.

Food industry

Heat exchangers play a key role in the food industries. It is one of the cases in which this equipment is required to keep sanitized processes. In addition to changing the state of fluids by heating or cooling the temperature, in this type of industry, exchangers are used, among other things, to:

  • Heat water to sterilize food or raise their temperature to decontaminate them, that is, carry out a pasteurization process.
  • Preserve food thanks to quick freezing processes.

In general, the use of heat exchangers is related to offering and preserving the quality of food and ensuring its safety saving on resources and optimizing processes.

Metallurgical industry

This type of industry is one of the most related to heat exchange processes. This is why heat exchangers play a key role in optimizing the processes in which this technology is required.

In the metal industry high amounts of energy are required, in addition, efficient equipment that lasts in the time and prevent processes from being contaminated. For which it is necessary to invest in state-of-the-art equipment.

The main use of heat exchangers in this case is related to the change in water temperature, since it is used to cool the water metal molds and presses, which require releasing high levels of heat.
