GLYCOL INDUSTRIAL CEILING AIR COOLERS

Applications and models
These Intersam industrial ceiling coolers use glycol as a coolant. They have double air distribution and are placed in conservation and refrigeration chambers of all kinds. Intersam is composed of four main series: for high (IPIA), medium (IPIM), low (IPIB) and very low temperature (IPIT).
Glycol industrial ceiling air coolers features
The evaporator coils of these equipments are high performance and are built in 1/2 ”fluted copper tube and fin corrugated aluminum with spacings of 4.2, 6, 8 and 10mm.
The frame, made of aluminum sheet, is provided with protection collars and has an type production system Venturi for the application of thermostatic expansion valves.
Regarding its exterior structure, the manufacture is made of aluminum painted in polyester RAL-9018 color high resistance. Vibrations in these machines are avoided thanks to the fact that their entire structure is compact and highly rigid. The parts are all easily removable for maintenance.
The units are fitted with helical fans with high performance protection grilles as standard and are provided with 400, 500, 630 and 800mm diameter motors. Three-phase for 400V / 50Hz, with IP-54 degree of protection, with external rotor and low consumption. The bearings are provided with a special grease for low temperatures, down to -50ºC. All motors are connected to a general watertight box, according to IP-55 regulations.
Finally, defrosting is carried out with 230V electric heaters built in armored stainless steel tube. Its vulcanized ends avoid derivations and are introduced inside the battery and the tray. They are connected to a watertight junction box.
The models in this range can be supplied with defrosting resistors.
Options
We provide you with a wide variety of options when configuring your equipment. These options allow, for example, modifying the coil fins and tubes or applying anti-corrosion treatments when the installation conditions require it, among others.
Regarding defrosting, you can opt for an electric defrost in battery and in tray, by hot gas in battery with resistance on a tray, but you can also opt for a defrosting with an insulated drain tray.
In the downloadable brochure on this page you can consult in more detail all these and other options that affect fans and equipment valves.
All options to be included in the equipment must be made upon request and under the prior study of the technical department of Intersam .
The powers of the forced draft evaporators are tested in a dry atmosphere according to the ENV-328 standard. The nominal powers indicated in this catalog correspond to the test powers (SC2) multiplied by a coefficient (latent heat factor), in order to include the increase in capacity caused by the condensation of water vapor on the surface of the evaporator. This factor varies according to chamber conditions: it increases for high interior temperatures and decreases for low interior temperatures.
