GLYCOL GRAVITY COILS UNIT COOLERS
Glycol cooling consists of using glycol water as the fluid. The creation of this range is directly related to the Intersam commitment to the environment since its foundation in 1995.
Applications and models
Our static glycol evaporators are ideal for installation in small open rooms or display cabinets with natural convection air circulation. The Intersam range of IES statics is designed for cameras that work at high and medium temperatures, mainly for the conservation of gender. In the Intersam product catalog, this range is known as the IES range.
The batteries of these glycol statics are built in 5/8 ”copper tube and have corrugated aluminum fins with 12mm gaps. They can be served with one or two refrigerant circuits. In the case of carrying two, they have a venturi type production system for the application of thermostatic expansion valves. On the other hand, the frame is made of aluminum sheet and is provided with protection collars.
The static glycol evaporators of Intersam’s IES range have a drip tray and drain structure built in pre-lacquered aluminum . They are built in the shape of saw teeth and in sections. They discharge into a single tray, with built-in drain. This tray prevents dripping on the chamber fabric and favors the collection of condensation in the defrost process.
There is also the possibility to manufacture the equipment with built-in defrosting. In that case, we achieve it through 230V electric resistances built in armored stainless steel tubes and with vulcanized ends to avoid derivations. They are placed inside the battery and are connected to a watertight junction box, according to the IP-55 standard.
There is the possibility of finishing the units with some options, all of them described in the brochure downloadable from this page. These options can affect the battery as well as the structure or the defrosting process.

All capacities in this range have been calculated according to ENV-328 standards with nominal powers according to SC2.
