The difference compared to the traditional Split is that the 8 indoor units can be connected to a single outdoor unit , also the indoor units can be adjusted to the power required in each room.
Ducted air conditioning
The installation of this system is more complex than in the previous cases, it is also focused on large places. The installation is carried out in the false ceiling, that is why it is common that this system is chosen in a new construction house. They are also known as centralized air distribution systems. The operation is simple, with an external part, THE CLIMATE CONTROLLER, which distributes the air with the desired temperature throughout the space through ducts .
Reversible or non-reversible systems
reversible air conditioning systems are those that can reverse the refrigerant cycle , being able to change from heat to cold as necessary. The main advantage of this type of air conditioning is that it saves energy.
An example of this type of energy-saving systems is the reversible heat pump, where heat is extracted from the outside air and transported to the home. There are also non-reversible heat pumps that work only as heating or cooling.
Evaporative systems
Of all those mentioned, this system is the least common in the housing market. The operation of this system is based on cooling the water through air currents and creating a more humid atmosphere that cools the room.
